Overview
Deltas Trade Link is a manufacturing company founded in 1999 by Mr. Veerachamy Senthilkumar. Over the past two and a half decades, it has grown into one of India's leading names in Sambrani and devotional products, manufacturing incense sticks, jumbo cups, and mini cups under well-loved brands like Aaradhana, Sampradayam, Panchavarnam, and Kamali.
What began as a small local operation has steadily grown into a business that serves customers across the country, built on a foundation of product quality, fair pricing, and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.
The Problem
Like a lot of growing businesses, Delta Tradelink had patched things together with Tally for accounts and spreadsheets for everything else, purchases, inventory, customer orders, and team tasks. It worked until it didn't.
- The core issue was that nothing talked to anything else. Sales didn't know what was in stock. Accounts had to chase operations for numbers before closing the books.
- A basic management report meant 30 minutes of pulling figures from multiple files and hoping nothing had slipped through.
- Team coordination wasn't much better; decisions were being made on outdated information, follow-ups were getting missed, and manual data entry errors were quietly creating bigger problems downstream.
- The business had clearly outgrown its tools. Something had to change.
Our Approach
When Delta Tradelink came to GSUS, the team didn't walk in with a ready-made solution. They started by talking to the people actually doing the work, sales staff, warehouse teams, accounts, and management, to understand where things were breaking down.
What they found was a business running almost entirely on manual effort. Every report needed someone to physically gather data from scattered files. Every handoff between teams happened over WhatsApp or phone calls with no record.
Even checking stock availability or a customer's outstanding balance took far longer than it should.
GSUS documented all of it, current workflows, gaps, inefficiencies, and put it into a clear requirements document that was walked through with the Delta Tradelink team. Once everyone was on the same page, they moved forward.
The Solution
GSUS recommended Odoo, and the reasoning was straightforward. Delta Tradelink didn't need more tools; they needed one system where everything lived together. Odoo gave them exactly that.
- Sales, purchase, inventory, accounting, and team management all work as one connected platform. A confirmed sale updates inventory automatically.
- A purchase order raised by one team is visible to accounts instantly. Reports that used to take 30 minutes now generate in seconds from live data, no manual work involved.
Solution Implementation
Once the requirements document was signed off, GSUS got to work. Each module was configured and brought live in a structured sequence, not everything at once, but one area at a time, so the team could get comfortable before moving to the next
Every step was tested using real business data and actual day-to-day scenarios. Existing data from Tally and spreadsheets was carefully migrated into Odoo, so nothing was lost in the switch.
By go-live, the team already knew the system, because they had been part of testing and validating it throughout.
Customer Impact
The shift was immediate. Tasks that once took 30 minutes were done in seconds. But the bigger change was in how the business functioned as a whole.
- All departments were finally working from the same live data. Management could pull any report instantly. Stock levels were visible in real time. Customer order history, outstanding payments, and purchase records were all in one place.
- And team coordination, previously scattered across informal chats, was now tracked and managed within the system.
- Delta Tradelink went from a business held together by spreadsheets to one running on a connected, intelligent platform. The team now spends less time managing data and more time using it
